Prayer is the first stage on the formation of our Diocesan Vision for Sydney
To Glorify God by proclaiming our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ in prayerful dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Prayer is therefore the foundation for everything we do and teach at Christ Church. See the link to view the vision and prayer meetings we are committed to for 2008.

Penrith Church is MINISTRY MINDED

We are the body of Christ and every member has a part to play in this mission that God has involved us in.

Ephesians 4:16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

We are an Anglican Church congregation which serves the local community of Penrith Anglican College. You'll find our services informal and our teaching engaging and biblical.

Our Vision is to make Jesus known to our community and to teach and equip the body to grow into the men and women God made us to be.

Our adults ministries create a foundation for Christian maturity and our childrens' ministry has a well structured teaching programme to give our children all they need to know to grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus.

Our PM service is dedicated to training and our equipping the youth at Christ Church to be mature men and women of God. Some will be further trained in leadership roles within the church.

Music at Christ Church is contemporary and praising God plays a key role in how we understand church on Sunday.

CONNECT '09 is a very important part of what our church will engage in over the coming months and year. It is our intention firstly to found everything we do on the power of prayer. Our prayer ministry  is the vital first step to connecting with the community around us and establishing our mission programme for the future.

Our yearly events programme involves a number of events and activities which are in line with our purpose statements. These purpose statements help define who we are and what we do at Christ Church. All events therefore are focussed on either ministry, mission or Christ-likeness.

Our evangelistic events engage with the community on a number of levels so that we can connect with the community. The events directed to members encourage spiritual growth in Christ and a sense of fellowship and community. Please call our ministry team if you have any questions.
